PARKSIDE School PE teachers are really good sports – and it’s official.
During the summer holidays the Cullingworth school’s PE Department was awarded the Silver School Games award for its contribution and commitment towards the delivery of sport, PE and extra-curricular activities.
Ben Miller, the deputy head of PE, said this was the second year the staff had achieved the award and they were really proud about it.
He added: “I want to thank all the PE staff for their continued hard work and efforts, and also the students and staff as a whole for their continued support.
“This award wouldn't have been possible without the help and commitment of staff at lunchtimes and after school, providing our students with excellent extra-curricular opportunities.”
