CYCLISTS are saddling-up for a fundraising event in aid of Manorlands.
The 14th annual Bronte Mountain Bike Challenge takes place on Sunday (Sept 22).
There is a choice of four routes, catering for all abilities. They range in distance from 13.1 to 35.1 miles.
Each is named after a Bronte sibling.
The event, organised by the hospice’s cycling support group and sponsored by All Terrain Cycles, starts and finishes at Oxenhope Community Centre.
Online entries – at sueryder.org/brontemtb – are being taken until noon on Friday.
But people will also be able to enter on the day.
“Our hope is to get above 200 riders as usual,” said Manorlands-based Sue Ryder fundraiser, Andrew Wood.
“This will bring in much-needed funds for the hospice and keep the event on our calendar for another year.”
