A CARE group has launched the biggest recruitment campaign in its 36-year history.

Czajka is planning to create 30 new jobs – including posts for care workers, chefs and registered nurses – before the end of the year.

The roles will be based across the group’s five homes, including Currergate at Steeton and Beanlands, Cross Hills.

Managing director, Konrad Czajka, said: “This is an exciting time for our group.

“We’ve been at the forefront of the region’s care industry for several decades and now have several opportunities available across our homes, as a result of increased demand for our services and fewer workers coming from Europe due to Brexit.

“All new starters benefit from high-quality in-house training, provided by an experienced team of care professionals who are all qualified to deliver an extensive range of fully-certified courses.”

The family-run business currently has a 350-strong workforce and its in-house training centre also helps train other care home operators and is regularly used by the NHS.
