WE WELCOME in the autumn with a lovely new carpet in our cinema foyer and a media board which will be showing all your favourite trailers for upcoming film.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, released on October 18 just in time for Halloween, is the second Maleficent film from Walt Disney Studios.

With Angelina Jolie reprising her role as the Mistress of Evil, in this second instalment we see a queen that causes a rift between Maleficent and Princess Aurora.

Together they must face new allies and enemies in a bid to protect the magical lands which they share.

Abominable (U) is the next animation to hit the big screens on Friday, October 11.

After discovering a Yeti on the roof of her apartment building, teenager Yi and her two friends embark on an epic quest to reunite the magical creature with his family.

But to do so, they must stay one step ahead of a wealthy financier and a determined zoologist who want to capture the beast for their own gain.

So if you’re a fan of great animation and family-friendly films then this one is definitely something you won’t want to miss.

From one family-friendly film to another, this next one is a favourite of much of you

A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon (U) flocks this way to cinemas from October 18, with another story that will keep the whole family entertained through the autumn.

When an alien possessing strange powers crash-lands near Mossy Bottom Farm, Shaun the Sheep quickly makes a new friend. Together they must run from a dangerous organisation who wants to capture the intergalactic visitor.

Gemini Man (12a), released on October 11, is an action thriller film directed by Ang Lee with a star cast that includes Will Smith, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Clive Owen, and Benedict Wong.

Henry Brogan (Will Smith) is an elite assassin who becomes the target of a mysterious operative who can seemingly predict his every move. To his horror, he soon learns that the man who’s trying to kill him is a younger, faster, cloned version of himself!

I only watched the first Zombieland a few weeks ago and really enjoyed this post-apocalyptic horror zombie comedy and with a fantastic cast. So Zombieland: Double Tap is a film I am really looking forward to watching.

Zombie slayers Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson), Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) square off against the newly-evolved undead.

So if you’re in the mood for a good zombie film, especially one that doesn’t take itself too seriously, then Zombieland: Doible Tap is one not to miss.
