POLICE are cracking down on uninsured drivers across the region.
West Yorkshire's roads policing unit says it is backing a month-long national campaign.
As of the beginning of this week, the total number of vehicles seized since October 1 in West Yorkshire as part of the operation had reached 119.
An officer tweeted that the concerted effort was in addition to the unit's usual work to apprehend uninsured motorists and remove them from West Yorkshire's roads.
