PARKSIDE School students have handed over the proceeds of their charity walk across the Yorkshire Three Peaks.
Amy Farrar, from hospice charity Marie Curie, visited the Cullingworth school to collect a cheque for £1,360.
The group of year 11 students trekked 24 miles over Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in July this year.
Derek Radcliffe, student support leader at Parkside, said: "Some of those who took part had recently been affected by the loss of a loved one and so this meant a lot to them. This is the sort of thing that really builds resilience in young people."
Parkside School sent two expeditions of pupils and staff to the Yorkshire Three Peaks last summer, both parties finishing the challenge in under 12 hours.
