COWLING man Sandy Harrison enjoyed success at a Skipton Auction Mart meet.
He was the joint top seller at the annual Saturday Swaledale females highlight for gimmer shearlings and draft ewes.
There were 2,671 entries.
The average price achieved was £86.39.
Mr Harrison’s pen (pictured) sold for £200 to Gordon Haynes, from Mitton in the Ribble Valley.
The other top vendor was Alan Alderson, former national chairman of the Swaledale Sheep Breeders Association.
Show classes were judged by father and son, James and Simon Garth.
