WHY is Bradford highways department throwing money away on resurfacing Lawkholme Lane in Keighley – Anger as businesses are hit by roadworks (Keighley News, October 3)?
Has anyone from the department tried driving through Denholme? It's the difference between a lawn and a ploughed field. Isn't it time priorities came first.
I also admire Mr Hinchliffe`s letter relating to our library. I thought it was illegal to change or sell something that didn't belong to you.
And to cap it all, since the proposed footbridge over the by-pass at Steeton hasn't been mentioned for a long time, where has the £700,000 gone? Not on a feasibility study I'm sure.
