KEIGHLEY’S first Apple Day will be held on October 27 at Cliffe Castle Museum.
The free event, which runs from 11am to 3pm, will celebrate autumn and “all things apple” and will include several activities suitable for all the family.
Hosted by the Be The Change organisation, Apple Day will bring together various local groups to provide a day of fun and learning.
There will be outdoor cooking with the All For Play team, apple pressing with Keighley Healthy Living, and presentations from Airedale Bee-keepers.
Entertainment will include wassailing from Yorkshire Wassail Choir and morris dancing from Cononley Morris Troupe, and children can take part in arts and crafts.
The conservatory by the entrance of Cliffe Castle Museum will offer tasters of different goods made from apples.
