A MENTAL health charity which supports people across the district has won a coveted accolade.

The Cellar Trust has scooped gold in the Charity Times Awards in recognition of its partnership work.

The award, in the Cross-sector Partnership of the Year category, was presented at a ceremony in London.

Kim Shutler, chief executive officer of the Cellar Trust, said: “The awards celebrate best practice in the UK charity and not-for-profit sector and we’re delighted to take home an honour.

“Our crisis, employment, and telehealth services are offered in partnership with Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust and Bradford Council, and we wouldn’t be where we are today without them.

“Our partnership work helps us to provide joined-up support for people.”

The charity – which celebrated its 30th birthday last month – supports people across Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven.
