KEIGHLEY company NSF Controls took part in the Wear It Pink day this month to raise money for breast cancer charities.
The company’s marketing team organised a bake sale, raffle and pink-themed games to involve all team members for the day.
A spokesman said: “Lots of our team members baked and brought their cupcakes, cookies and cakes and we raised a huge £567 to go toward breast cancer research.
“As part of our programme to support our staff, we have posters around the factory for the whole of October that show how to check your breasts for any changes and raising awareness that breast cancer does not only affect women.”
NSF Controls, based on Ingrow Bridge, is a world-renowned designer and manufacturer of switches for a range of industries.
Early last year the company launched three new products which can be fitted to an electric guitar, to build on the existing success of its Free-Way toggle switch.
