A CAMPAIGN promoting independent businesses in Keighley returns this month – and is set to be bigger than ever.

The initiative, run by Keighley Business Improvement District (BID), gives shoppers the chance to win vouchers.

There will be three weekly draws with £150 voucher prizes and then a final draw giving away a bumper £1,000 of vouchers, which can be spent with participating businesses.

Shoppers just have to get cards stamped at the outlets to take part. Campaign materials, including the cards and stamps, will be distributed to businesses shortly.

The weekly winners will be drawn each Friday throughout the venture and the final draw will take place on December 20.

BID manager, Paul Howard, said: “The Independents Campaign goes from strength to strength each time, with more and more businesses choosing to take part. The campaign not only helps to keep people shopping with local independent businesses but also gives them the chance to win a valuable prize just for doing so.”

Jo Smith-Travers, owner of Personal Ice in Keighley, said: “We always look forward to the Christmas Independents Campaign which not only drives customers into Keighley to shop, but brings them into us for their festive gifts, cake decorations and Christmas cake treats.”
