SILSDEN manager Danny Forrest was left to curse his side's errors as they battled to a 3-3 draw, but they quickly have the chance to go one better this weekend.

The Cobbydalers battled to the high-scoring draw at neighbours Albion Sports in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division.

In wet conditions, Silsden struck through a Aidan Kirby brace and Arley Barnes, but Albion hit back for a share of the spoils.

Silsden will hope for better fortunes when they host Albion Sports at the Cobbydale Construction Stadium on Saturday (3pm kick-off).

But Forrest cut a frustrated figure following last weekend's draw and was not happy with his side’s display.

He said: “I thought we made a lot of errors and it cost us.

“The conditions didn’t help and that was always going to be a factor, but I thought we had a good first half and then dominated possession more in the second half. But we’ve given goals away through errors and that’s the frustrating part.

“They (Albion) haven’t had to work for their goals.

"They haven’t had to break us down we’ve just made mistakes, either individual or collective, which has handed them their chances."
