MANORLANDS is staging two festive Lights of Love services for people to remember and celebrate loved ones.

The free events – which will also be attended by volunteers and staff from the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice – will feature traditional Christmas carols, music and readings. Seasonal refreshments will be served afterwards.

The first service takes place at St Michael and All Angels Church, in Main Street, Haworth, on Sunday, December 1, at 4pm. And the second is at Holy Trinity Church, Mill Bridge, Skipton, on December 11, at 7pm.

During the services, guests will have the chance to write a message on a dedication candle.

Anyone is welcome to attend, irrespective of whether they have been supported by Manorlands.

Lizzie Procter, hospice director at Manorlands, said: “Everyone – including friends and family – is warmly welcome to join us at this year’s special Lights of Love event.”
