A STEETON-based motorbike club has raised £1,500 for charity with their annual Big Bike Sunday classic motorcycle event.
Proceeds of the Girder Fork Classic Motorcycle Club's event at Skipton Auction Mart will support the Whiteknights Yorkshire Blood Bikes.
The Whiteknights' volunteer Advanced Qualified riders transport urgent blood samples for testing between hospitals overnight and at weekends.
The Girder Fork members regularly raise money for charities, which in recent years have included Manorlands, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the National Association for Bikers with a Disability
The club – which has nearly 100 members – stages a range of activities, including speakers at its meetings and regular runs.
Anyone interested in joining should contact membership secretary Bert Peace on nandbpeace@btinternet.com.
