WHEN the first frost of the week hit the district it wasn’t long before police in Keighley stopped a car for having dangerously poor visibility.

Officers came across the driver after stopping at a petrol station.

The car’s frosted-up windows were believed to be the driver’s only error, but then the motorist drove off without warming the car up as advised.

After being stopped for a second time, the car was found to have no insurance.

A member of Keighley’s policing team said: “Don’t pull into a petrol station with a frosted-up car and no visibility next to a police officer.

“Also don’t then drive off without warming up the car despite the warning.

“You will be stopped – oh and make sure you have insurance.”
