A SOLICITOR with Keighley law firm AWB Charlesworth has been promoted to a director of the company.

Wills, trusts and probate lawyer Mark Shaw has become the ninth director with the company, which also has branches in Skipton, Bingley and Bradford.

Mark, who qualified as a solicitor in 2012 and deals with a wide range of probate and trust work, including cross-border estates, will continue to be based in the Keighley office.

He drafts wills and powers of attorney for a broad range of clients, often with complex needs. In addition he administers estates, drafts and administers trusts and provides inheritance tax planning advice.

Mark is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and has completed the STEP Advanced Certificate in Cross-Border Estates achieving a STEP Worldwide Excellence award.

Mark said: “I am really pleased and excited about becoming a director at the firm. I look forward to continuing to work with the fantastic team at AWB Charlesworth and to working hard to maintain a first class service to our clients.”

Liam O’Neill, Director at AWB Charlesworth said Mark had worked hard at the firm ever since he joined in 2012.
