DANCERS and musicians have helped raise almost £3,000 for Manorlands through events at a Keighley live music venue.
The New Variety Club in Russell Street has hosted regular performances by upcoming bands and singers throughout the year to bring in the cash.
Money has come from the gigs, organised by manager Elaine Marshall and local master of ceremonies Michael Baker, as well as through a regular jive dancing class run by Sue Aldham.
All three were present when Sue Ryder Manorlands fundraiser Andrew Wood went along to give thanks.
Andrew said: "Everyone at the New Variety Club is very passionate about raising funds for Manorlands and this is being shown by their fantastic results."
The New Variety Club will end their first year of fundraising with Dave B's Christmas Party Night on December 21, and a Boxing Day night gig by 70s glam rock group Feel The Noise.
