GENERAL Election hustings are planned in Haworth and Keighley.
All six candidates standing in the Keighley and Ilkley parliamentary constituency have been invited to take part.
They are Mark Barton, of the Yorkshire Party; Tom Franks, Liberal Democrats; John Grogan, Labour; Waqas Ali Khan, the Brexit Party; Robbie Moore, Conservatives, and Matthew Edward Rose, of the Social Democratic Party.
The first – organised by Churches Together in the Worth Valley – is upstairs at West Lane Baptist Church in Haworth on Monday (Nov 25), at 7pm.
Questions for consideration should be e-mailed to worthaquestion@gmail.com or posted to Worthaquestion, 54 West Lane, Haworth BD22 8EN, by Sunday.
The second hustings is at Keighley Shared Church next Thursday (Nov 28).
Anyone wishing to put a question to the candidates at that event is asked to arrive at the church for 7pm. The debate, chaired by the Rev Dr Jonathan Pritchard, will start at 7.30pm.
