Sangat volunteers with their certificates
CERTIFICATES of achievement have been awarded to volunteers at a Keighley community centre.
The presentation took place during the Sangat Community Centre’s well-attended annual general meeting.
“It was a very successful event,” said a spokesman.
“The centre plays an essential role in empowering the community to provide a range of opportunities for volunteering.
“It also enables people to become stakeholders in the wider community, connecting communities and promoting cohesion.”
