A KEIGHLEY retailer is staging a Christmas shopping day in support of Manorlands.

Small’s Showroom, in North Street, is opening specially on Sunday, December 8, between 10am and 4pm.

Staff are giving their time for free and 20 per cent of takings will go to the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.

Also, a luxury hamper is being raffled, and light-up cloches will be sold for £10 – with half the proceeds going to Manorlands.

Drinks and nibbles will be served.

Helen Avison – for Small’s, which specialises in luxury gifts, greetings cards, luggage and stationery – said: “It’s the time of year to be thinking about other people and we want to have a Christmassy event where people can come and buy gifts that will have a little bit of meaning. We’re having gift labels printed so the recipient knows that the present they have received has gone towards supporting our local hospice.”
