CULLINGWORTH’S parish church provided a spectacular venue for the annual carol concert by students of Parkside School’.
The children and teenagers from across the school’s year groups sang in St John’s Church in a range of styles and genres.
The concert was designed to showcase many of Parkside’s extra-curricular groups including the Showstoppers choir – which was formed earlier this year – rock bands, the Concert Band, and selected soloists from key stage IV.
Claire Skipsey, the Cullingworth school’s Head of Music, said: “The music was a mix of Christmas pieces, carols with great audience participation, and classic rock songs!
“The concert was really well received within the community and all our students were real superstars!”
