PARKSIDE School has again taken part in the annual Future Chef competition.
Beth Barker-Rowell from year 11 and Harrison Brierley from year nine took part in the local final at Craven College.
Both students from the Cullingworth school cooked and presented a two course meal, with two portions, on a budget of £7.
The judges included chefs from local restaurants including the Angel at Hetton which recently obtained a Michelin star award.
School spokesman Majella McColgan said: "Both students did themselves and the school proud. We didn't have a winner but both students dishes tasted and looked amazing with lots of high practical skills involved."
