Northern Powergrid staff with one of the hampers
ELECTRICITY distribution company Northern Powergrid is adding extra sparkle to Christmas at Manorlands.
It is donating a festive hamper to the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice – and to around 40 other hospices across the region.
The firm distributes the hampers, each worth about £100, every Christmas.
They contain a range of goodies.
Siobhan Barton, for Northern Powergrid, said: “The hospices provide vital care across our region in the most difficult of circumstances and we wanted to give something back to the communities we live in, work in and power every day.
“Many of the donated hampers are used as part of the hospices’ festive fundraising raffles.”
