CARING staff at Keighley social housing group Incommunities have donated hundreds of household items and clothes to bring some seasonal cheer to families affected by domestic violence.

An array of items, from toiletries and toys to nappies and other baby essentials, has been given to Bradford Women’s Aid as part of a Cares at Christmas campaign. Donations were also made to the Kirklees-based Pennine Domestic Violence Group.

Geraldine Howley, Incommunities’ group chief executive, said: “Staff have really shown their caring side to help those in our communities that have experienced domestic abuse.

“We are proud to support Bradford Women’s Aid and Pennine Domestic Violence Group.

“Day in, day out these charities do vital work supporting families, children and young people by offering them safe refuge and support.”

Incommunities staff have also given items to foodbanks and made a festive donation to mental health charity Mind.
