AN Eldwick man organised a charity Beatles tribute night – with a little help from his friends.

Anton Kitchen and supporters came together to stage the event, at the village’s memorial hall, in aid of Manorlands. The fundraiser was in tribute to the care provided by the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice to Anton’s mother.

“My mother spent time in Manorlands shortly before she passed away – I know first-hand how professional and caring they are,” he said.

The event, featuring tribute act Beatles for Sale, raised £1,875.

“It’s a fantastic total and I would like to thank everyone who gave their support," said Anton.
