A TWO-DAY course in Keighley this month aims to give local people a better chance of finding a job.
Airedale Enterprise Services will run the Level 1 Award course in Employability Skills at its premises in Worth Way on January 23 and 24.
The free training will develop skills needed for the working environment, and improve learners' confidence and communication skills.
Topics include time management, problem solving, process and procedures at work, following instructions, teamwork, interview skills, CV writing, and Health & Safety.
Airedale Enterprise Services has teamed up with Shipley College for the course, which lasts from 9.30am to 3.30pm each day. Call Cameron O'Donnell on 01274 327400 for further information and to book a place.
Wendy Spencer, from Airedale Enterprise Services, said: "Learners who successfully complete this qualification can move forward with increased confidence into employment or further training."
