Three taxi drivers were given suspensions during a road safety crackdown on a Bradford estate.

Officers from the Steerside Enforcement Team have now released the results of the initiative, which took place on the city's Holme Wood estate last Thursday.

Police and partner agencies checked 14 taxis, with three suspensions handed out and two restrictions.

A total of 30 vehicles of various types were also checked for red diesel.

During the operation, police also arrested a suspect who was wanted on warrant.

Meanwhile, six tickets were issued for various offences including bald tyres and not wearing a seatbelt.

Three motorists also received tickets for illegal parking near schools in the area.

Officers also seized a vehicle that was untaxed and Reported two drivers for traffic offences.

One driver was given a so-called Section 59 warning for driving in an anti-social manner.
