PEOPLE across the Keighley district are being urged to meet-up for a cuppa – and boost charity at the same time.
Dementia UK is staging its annual Time for a Cuppa fundraising initiative.
Individuals, schools, groups and businesses are being encouraged to stage tea parties as part of the venture, which runs from March 1 to 8. Proceeds will help fund Dementia UK’s Admiral nurses, who provide specialist support to families.
Dr Hilda Hayo, for the charity, says more nurses are desperately needed.
