A DATE has just been released for a popular debate in Yorkshire’s agricultural calendar.
The annual forum, organised by Yorkshire Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs (YFYFC), will take place on Friday, February 21.
This year’s theme up for discussion is “Can you take the reins?” looking at all aspects of succession including tax, legal implications and tenancies.
The venue for this year’s debate, which is sponsored by Crombie Wilkinson Solicitors and CCM Auctions, is Skipton Auction Mart from 7pm with a 7.30pm start.
The evening is open to all, not just young farmers, and will begin with panellists taking questions from the floor. There will then be a break for refreshments, with the chance to grill experts on a one-to-one basis before going back to the debate to round up the evening’s discussion.
It’s a free event, but please try and let YFYFC know if you plan to attend via emailing office@yfyfc.org.uk or calling 01423 865870 to give an idea of numbers for catering arrangements.
