THREE popular local folk groups will perform in Guiseley on Saturday February 8 at 7.30pm in support of Dalesbus.

Proceeds of the show at Coopers Bar and Brasserie on Otley Road will help fund the network of weekend bus services to the Yorkshire Dales.

Headline act will be the Hall Brothers and John Carey who perform at folk festivals and clubs throughout the country.

They will be supported by Keepers Wood and Hazjak, and the evening will be hosted by local impresario and DalesBus enthusiast Muppett.

Friends of DalesBus chairman Paul Harrison said: “Without out fundraising, many people living in West Yorkshire, especially younger and older people on lower incomes without use of a car would be denied access to the Yorkshire Dales National Park.”

Tickets cost £10 on the door or by calling Muppett on 07814 601980.
