WHARFEDALE Under-12s will bring their “strength from the hills” when they travel the Lakes this weekend to play in a junior rugby tournament in Penrith and Keswick.
In an action packed two days, the under-12s will play Sedburgh, Keswick, Cockermouth, Wigton, Millom and Penrith.
Thanks to the sponsorship of Vanguard shipping, The Gamekeepers Inn, A L Dean and Sons and Farfield Osteopaths, the 22 young men will have brand new kit to play in.
The Wharfedale faithful have also been generous with the junior team's fundraising activities, and supporters are hoping the Cumbrian weather will be as kind.
