GLUSBURN hildren came back to school victorious after winning the South Craven Indoor Athletics Competition.
The team of 28 girls and boys from years five and six took part in a variety of individual events including long jump, javelin and speed bounce.
The pupils from Glusburn Community Primary School also took part in a number of team running races.
School head Richard Hunt said: "After the field events the scores were very close, so it was down to the running teams to seal the victory.
"There were some close run races but despite a dropped baton and a fall, Team Glusburn were successful in becoming the champions.
"They will now progress to the next round and represent the South Craven area at Upper Wharfedale School."
