A 15-YEAR-old boy plans to walk the Yorkshire Three Peaks to raise money for Candlelighters.
Charlie Pyrah is embarking on the trek in memory of fellow Keighley teen Kieran Duffy who died in December after a short illness.
Army cadet Charlie has organised the April 18 walk with Candlelighters, who support children and young people with cancer in West Yorkshire.
Charlie hopes to climb Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent in the traditional way, completing the full 24 miles in under 12 hours.
He said: "I've set up a Just Giving page and started receiving donations. I really want to make a difference.
"I did the Three Peaks with my mum around three or four years ago, and I walk as much as possible as it goes along with my hobby of photography."
People can make a donation by typing Charlie Pyrah into the justgiving.com search box.
