BINGLEY Jazz Club will pay tribute to John Pashley, one of the North's most popular musicians, at a special evening on Thursday February 20 at the town's Mavericks club.
The extrovert jazzman, who died last autumn played regularly at Bingley mainly on trumpet but he could also play other instruments.
Bingley-based musician John Bousfield, who has put the tribute band together said: "John loved Mardi Gras so we are going to play a lot of of his favourites as well as hearing some tales about him.
"There will be a lot of musicians there. The band will be the same as played for his last gig."
The line-up is John Bousfield (clarinet and tenor sax), Trevor Vincent (trumpet), Danny Daniels (drums), Phil Kampen (bass) and Richard Speight (guitar and banjo).
