A LAW firm has won recognition for its work to become more dementia friendly.
AWB Charlesworth Solicitors has received the Recognition Award from Dementia Friendly Keighley.
Volunteers from the group provided training for the company’s private client and reception team.
Mark Shaw – a solicitor in AWB Charlesworth’s private client department and a director, based at the Keighley office – said: “We are very pleased to have received the Recognition Award.
“It is really important for us as a local business to take steps towards becoming dementia friendly.
“It’s hoped the training will enable staff to provide additional support to clients and visitors living with dementia.
“We also hope to support Dementia Friendly Keighley moving forward and recognise its fantastic work and the support it provides to the community.”
