AN event bringing together different sectors of the community is taking place in Keighley.
The Redeeming Our Communities ‘Conversation’ is at Victoria Hall, next Tuesday (March 3), between 7pm and 9pm.
Anyone is invited to attend.
Those taking part will include residents, statutory agencies, public services and community and faith groups.
Debra Green – of Redeeming Our Communities, a national charity – said: “We’ve hosted more than 200 Conversations across the UK and have always been surprised by the amount of hidden work taking place in communities and amazed at how easily gaps in provision can be met by existing groups once they become aware of the need.”
The event is supported by the police and the office of the West Yorkshire police and crime commissioner, Mark Burns-Williamson. He said: “We all have a responsibility to work together to encourage inclusivity and build relationships which strengthen our resilience to threats such as crime.”
