FAMILY trees have grown into a spectacular rainforest at Stanbury Primary School.
The school invited parents to go in and make their own ‘family tree’ over the course of the week.
School spokesman Emma Atkins said: "They enjoyed time together and the school hall has been transformed into a spectacular rainforest for the children to enjoy.
"Children get to enjoy the rainforest on a daily basis, eating their lunch, having lessons and having the opportunity to explore whist being immersed in the sounds of the forest.
"There is to be a ‘rainforest cafe’ and the children are to have a sleepover amongst the trees!
"It’s a very impressive project that has not only had a positive impact upon the children and their learning but upon the wider school and village community."
