Ellesmere Rotary Club has chosen some groups or individuals that are to be recipients of their Tree of Light fundraising.
In an event held last week, Rotarians came together with selected members, including Edward bevan,. from Ellesmere Heronwatch; Len Graham from Ellesmere Sculpture Initiative; Sharon McMullan from Activity Alliance; Caroline Ford from Ellesmere Brownies; Diane Harvey from Ellesmere Youth Club; John Frost from Ellesmere in Bloom and Phil Wilkinson & Pam Hillier from Blood Bikes.
They were all there to meet Ellesmere Rotary President Graham Hutchinson.
Meanwhile, the Rotary Club is calling for volunteers to join them at Tesco Ellesmere and Morrison’s in Oswestry from March 9-13
A club spokesman said: “We are looking for kind hearted volunteers.
“Just a couple of hours of your time – thank you.”
