BURGLARS have made off with items of jewellery after smashing the window of a rear door at a property in Cowling.
North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the burglary which occurred in Lane House Road between 4.55pm to 5.40pm on February 27.
A silver hatch back-type vehicle was seen to leave the area.
A spokesman for the police sale: "We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
"In particular, we are appealing for information about the silver-coloured car at the scene .
