LOTHERSDALE farmer David Booth took the honours when vendors met for this month’s opening Craven Dairy Auction fixture.
He secured both the champion and reserve titles with home-bred heifers at the Skipton Auction Mart event.
Mr Booth runs the Shawdale pedigree dairy herd at Broomhouse Farm with his wife, Margaret, and daughter Jenny.
The champion sold for £2,000 to regular buyer Mark Goodall, from Tong. And the reserve was bought for £1,700, also by Mr Goodall.
