PEOPLE are being urged not to contact the police for advice on coronavirus.
The West Yorkshire force says it is seeing high volumes of calls from the public seeking guidance.
"Our call handlers are needed to answer emergency calls where there is a danger to life or a crime in progress," said a spokesman.
"We appreciate in these uncertain times that members of the public will want to seek reassurance and guidance – the latest information can be found on the Government website, gov.uk/coronavirus."
