Sixteen have now died after testing positive to coronavirus at Airedale Hospital

Four more patients who had tested positive for Covid19 died yesterday, NHS England has said.

In a statement they said a further 403 had died in England, bringing the total of confirmed reports to 4,897.

Nationally there have been 434 more deaths from the coronavirus today, taking the UK's total to 5,368.

Of the total casualties, patients were aged between 35 and 106 years old. 15 of the 403 patients (aged between 52 and 94 years old) had no known underlying health condition.

Their families have been informed.
