POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in South Ham last night.

Officers say that the alleged burglars made off from the scene, at a store on St Peter's Road, on a red Honda scrambler motorbike shortly after 11.45pm last night.

The CCTV hard drive and other items were taken from the store.

Hampshire Police are now appealing for anyone that saw the vehicle to get in touch.

A spokesperson said: "We’re appealing for anyone with information about a suspicious vehicle suspected to have been involved in a burglary in Basingstoke.

"Did you see this vehicle, or perhaps capture it on dash cam?

"Did you see anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time?
