A sign praising our NHS staff and key workers during the coronavirus pandemic has appeared at the Crown roundabout.
The sign, which says ‘Thank you NHS and all key workers’, was put up by Bridport resident Michelle Holmes-Good on Tuesday after it was printed by Creative Solutions in Axminster free of charge.
Michelle said: “I organised a little something to help cheer Bridport people, plus to say thank you to the NHS and all key workers.
“Thank you to Simon Warry for letting me put the sign up on the West Bay roundabout barrier outside his pub.”
The sign has received lots of positive feedback and praise from residents on social media.
One person said: “As a supermarket worker it is lovely to see the community appreciate what we are all doing, so thank you.
“And don’t forget a big thank you to the schoolteachers and staff that are still working to allow the NHS and other key workers to continue working too.”
Another said: “Well done and thank you to everyone who is working their socks off in all different jobs, you are all appreciated.”
