STEETON are offering all NHS workers free entry to every home game in their inaugural season at Marley Stadium in 2020/21.

In a club statement, they said: "As a thank you to all the NHS staff who have been working tirelessly to fight the Covid-19 pandemic, we are delighted to offer all NHS workers free entry to all games for our inaugural season at Marley Stadium.

"Airedale Hospital sits within the heart of the village of Steeton and a lot of the workers also live in and around the village, so it is a big part of our community.

"Our club captain Tim Hird is a doctor at Airedale Hospital and a number of players' family and friends also work there, so there are close links between both the hospital and the football club.

"While football is the least of people's concerns during this terrible pandemic, we hope that when it is safe to do so, football can return and we can look forward to welcoming our NHS heroes down to cheer us on at our new home.

"In the meantime, we home that everyone stays safe and follows the government guidelines to Stay at Home, Protect the NHS and Save Lives.

"Further details of how to claim free entry to the ground will be announced shortly."
