SIX people were arrested on suspicion of robbery after reports of a robbery at a Powys beauty spot.
Dyfed-Powys Police received a report of a robbery in Brecon at around 8am on April 6. The victim had been walking along Dan y Crug when he noticed a group of people in front of him.
The victim reported that they approached him and demanded he give them his bike, speaking to him aggressively.
He said that while he tried to defend himself, they stole his bike, worth £300, and attempted to take his bag before he managed to duck and run away.
Swift enquiries by Dyfed-Powys Police identified a number of males who might have been involved. Six suspects were located and arrested on suspicion of robbery at just after 9.30am.
A 17-year-old boy was charged with robbery, while an 18-year-old, 20-year-old, two 22-year-olds, and a 25-year-old have been released on bail.
