BUSINESSES are being invited to take part in an online survey launched by Bradford Council aimed at determining how firms are being affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

The information will help identify any needs businesses have that aren’t being met by Government support measures. Responses will also help shape the council’s longer-term plans for economic recovery.

The local authority economic development team is already helping businesses with issues such as business planning, online trading, developing social media and identifying new suppliers and markets, and continued assistance is being offered to access Government support packages.

Councillor Alex Ross-Shaw, portfolio holder for regeneration, planning and transport, said: “The council and its partners are committed to supporting local businesses through this crisis.

“We encourage all district businesses to take part in the survey, which will provide us with important insights.”
