A man has been charged following a fatal crash in Orpington in which a bus driver was killed last year.

Kenneth Matcham, 60, from Gravesend, died after a car and two single-decker buses collided on Sevenoaks Road on October 31, 2019.

Dorjan Cera, 20, of no fixed address, was charged on Friday (May 20) with causing death by dangerous driving.

He was also charged with seven counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

Police say he was further charged with; One count of causing death whilst unlicensed and one count of causing death whilst uninsured.

He appeared via virtual court at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on the same day.

He will appear in custody at crown court on Friday, June 19.

Cera had previously been charged via postal charge requisition with: driving otherwise in accordance with a licence; no insurance; and, being in possession of a false document with intent to deceive.
