TICKETS can once again be booked on the phone for performance venues in Bradford and Ilkley. Bradford Theatres has arranged for a small number of box office staff to take incoming calls from customers.

For the past few weeks people could only book online for upcoming shows at the Alhambra Theatre, Studio and St George’s Hall in Bradford, and King’s Hall in Ilkley. The resumed service came as Bradford Theatres issued updated list of shows cancelled rescheduled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Ballroom Boys, which brings together former Strictly Come Dancing professionals Ian Waite and Vincent Simone for a second tour, has been rescheduled for a second time, and can be seen on April 28 next year at St George’s Hall.

A night packed with dances, songs and loads of banter, the Argentina Tango legend Vincent and ballroom king Ian will be joined by two professional dancers and a singer, for dances, including the waltz, quickstep, Paso Doble, trot and and Argentina Tango.

Adam Kay promises a hilarious and heartbreaking stand-up comedy show, rescheduled from March 15 to September 24, as he shares entries from his diaries as a junior doctor in This Is Going To Hurt.

A Beautiful Noise, postponed from last month to March 17 next year, will see Fisher Stevens celebrating the music of singer-songwriter Neil Diamond at St George’s Hall.

In his latest show Escape Plan, writer, poet and TV and film producer Henry Normal promises an evening of pure escape with stories, jokes and poems, rescheduled from last month to February 11 next year.

Rock ‘n’ roll legends Showaddywaddy will be at King’’s Hall in Ilkley on November 15 this year, rather than May 16, performing hits like Under The Moon of Love, Three Steps to Heaven, Hey Rock & Roll, When, Blue Moon and Pretty Little Angel Eyes.

Joel Dommett, comedian, TV presenter, and actor from Skins and Live In Chelsea, can be seen at King’s Hall on April 12 next year in a show rescheduled from last month.

The box office team will continue to make outgoing calls to customers regarding refunds for cancelled shows. Some tickets are being posted to customers, and where possible staff at communicating by email.
